Is it Time for ‘The Change’?

If you are a woman aged 40 or older, it is time to think long and hard about changes in your body. It is between the ages of 40 and 55 that a woman’s body begins to undergo what is known as ‘the change,’ or Menopause.

During this time a woman’s menstrual cycle stops and she no longer produces eggs that can be fertilized for childbearing.  However, it is possible for a woman to become pregnant until she has completely gone through the change.

Although this period can begin any time starting at age 40, most women experience it around age 51. If you are beating this age, it is time to prepare for the changes soon to occur.

There’s nothing that a woman can do to stop the change. It is the body’s natural biological response. It happens so you might as well prepare for the change. When you prepare for the change, it’s much less stressful on the body.

Many symptoms indicate that the change has occurred. You may not realize at first the signs suggest that it’s the change, however. Some women experience symptoms greater than others and some women experience very mild symptoms.

The symptoms of the female change include:

·    Vaginal dryness

·    Hot flashes

·    Insomnia

·    Moodiness

·    Chills

·    Weight gain

·    Loss of breast firmness/fullness
